Ten years ago or more, I put together a "Powerpoint(r) presentation entitled "Christian Fellowship - Being a Part of the Body of Christ..." That project started out as a simple request from one of the "elders" at the Holmes Road Church of Christ where I was worshiping that I present a short presentation on "Fellowship" for group of congregation brothers who were meeting on a Saturday morning at a brothers breakfast and "prayer" session. I really got into the project. It had been many years since I had done even basic "Bible Study" even though I was attending religious services on a weekly basis at that time. I started doing some "research" on the topic, and what had been anticipated to be a 5-10 presentation ended up being a Powerpoint(r) presentation of approximately an hour... Some of the brothers attending that prayer breakfast seemed a bit uneasy and uncomfortable with my presentation and the questions I was raising about "what is Christian fellowship and who should be a part of our Christian fellowship?" I posted my presentation on several social media sites including on my MinorityADR site on Youtube (@MinorityADR2090). Over the past decade that presentation - even though quite lengthy - received hundreds of views on some of the websites where I was posting including Slideshare (which was later purchased by Scrbt). More recently I have begun podcasting, and for the past few years I have posted opinion pieces on my Black-Gold.org website dealing with responses to news events I came across in the news relating to White Christianity, Christian Nationalism, The Black Church, and hypocrisy I sensed in the visits I made to certain Christian congregations and denominations locally in Mid-Michigan churches. True to the way I taught for years online and elsewhere, I followed the practice of teaching by asking questions designed to cause thought and reflection. That approach was also consistent with the Socratic method of teaching and learning I experienced when I was attending the UMich lawschool way back in the 1970s. I welcome and thank those who take time to view or listen to my podcast - it is an hour and twenty minutes long. :-) And I am not persuading or hoping to impose my beliefs on anyone. But comments and critiques and counter arguments are appreciated. Maybe some religious leaders will want to take some of the points and arguments I make to generate their own presentations or sermons countering or supplementing my response to the issue "What is Christian fellowship?"
