I TAUGHT GRADUATE-LEVEL COURSES AT THE COOLEY LAW SCHOOL FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS, AND GRADUATE STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX ONLINE AND "ON GROUND CAMPUS" IN MICHIGAN FOR SEVERAL YEARS. MY MAIN OBJECTIVES AS AN EDUCATOR HAVE BEEN TO TEACH AND FOSTER CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS, AND TO ASSIST OTHERS TO ARTICULATE AND DEFEND THEIR OWN CONCLUSIONS AND VIEWPOINTS, AND ANALYSES.
I WAS A TOP-LEVEL EXECUTIVE IN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN CLASSIFIED EXECUTIVE SERVICE AND AN ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGE FOR 30+ YEARS BEFORE RETIRING FROM STATE SERVICE. I SPENT MUCH OF MY STATE CAREER IN LICENSING AND REGULATION, OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING, CONSUMER PROTECTION AND ENFORCEMENT, AND I ALSO RAN A PART OF THE MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS PRISON SYSTEM.
